The very first artist proposing an image to THE JOURNEY #1 OPEN CALL is Sergey Dobrynov from Ukraine. Through his paintings, he wants to convey the joy, warmth and kindness of his native places but, because of the war, he cannot reach them. Sergey is forced to avoid going and set out at will and to share his art production. Sometimes, as we can see on the photo sent by him, he has to paint by candlelight. 

On the painted-on-glass-piece he shows us, we can see the view from the height of his beloved mountains that he depicted only according... memories.

He declares: "After all, because of military operations, art is silent. I want people to see my work."
